May brings even more beautiful Missouri wildflowers. I get out as much as my schedule permits and these are my photos from trips to Pickle Spring Natural Area, Shaw Nature Reserve, Valley View Glades Natural Area, and Razor Hollow Natural Area.

Early spring brings the first of the spring wildflowers. Here are a few shots of April flowers taken at Shaw Nature Reserve, Rockwoods Reservation, and Engelmann Woods Natural Area.

In early April, we went to Arkansas for a joint meeting with the Arkansas Native Plant Society. Their members were very congenial hosts, and the field trips they organized were great. Here are a few pictures I took during our visit, April 3-6, 2008.
